Hello All!
Last Saturday I had the most amazing day in London with a friend I have made while here, her name is Natalia and she is from a small Spanish Island called Menorca. I met her in my German language class as she is studying Translation. The day was a lovely way to spend her last weekend in the country before she left to go home and back to school in Barcelona.
We left early in the morning at 6ish to get to London around 8:30am it was fun to watch the sunrise as we drove into the city. We started the day with a walk around Westminster and Parliament we then walked over to Trafalgar square and enjoyed the morning sun before heading into the National Gallery.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the museum with her giving me a lesson in greek mythology and showing me the painting she wrote her University Entrance paper on.
After the Museum we headed over to Borough Market to enjoy the sights and sounds of an open air market.
After the Market we took the tube to the British museum and spent a few hours wandering around taking in the many amazing sights in the museum.

We then wandered on to Oxford Street and Piccadilly Circus to see the stores and streets decorated for Christmas!
We ended our day attempting to go to the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland however at the end of our long day and many miss Directions we gave up and headed to the Bus Station for our ride back to Nottingham.
All in all the day was an adventure I am so glad I got to share with Natalia. Hopefully we will get to travel some more together soon!
Cheers!
Meghan
