Day Two!

Hello all! I had another fabulous day yesterday.  We started off our day with walking to city center which is about a 40min walk from the flat but only a 15 min bus ride! Once in the center we saw Nottingham castle, old Market square, St Mary's Church and St. Peter's Church, as well as just exploring the streets.  It was fun having time to get lost and poke through little shops.  we also attempted a few group pictures and quickly realized that Martin and Kathy need some training on how to take group Selfies.  We then ended our day with dinner at Martin and Kathy's house which is right behind our flat followed by some intense british jeopardy. In which Gabby and I lost quite spectacularly (were really good at fact or fiction which odds are 50/50). And finally we headed across the street to our local pub the hag head where we quickly learned that sunday is Karaoke night.  All in all it was a fun filled day of adjusting to our new lives for the year.

  1. Fun photos. The city looks pretty industrial. But it may be just your photos today.
